Hello World!

Well, this is all new to me, but I love to talk, I love to tell hilarious stories about my children, and I love to encourage other Moms. I guess that alone should qualify me to write a blog...now to find ANYONE who wants to read this!

For about a year I have read and been encouraged by blogs of other women, and that really is my intent here. This will be a REAL MOM blog - in all its glory and craziness. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the funny of being a Mom to a passel of kids! We have eight, so I think that officially qualifies as a "passel!" That is "southern speak" for a lot, in case you are completely confused by that. Even as I write this two of my children are having a conversation on the sofa next to me about the fact that everything on the earth eventually dies. They are trying to decide what an elephant's "emenies" are that would eventually bring about this occurrence for said animal. Maybe a lion. Then the conversation switches to a discussion of what languages their webkins speak. It is decided that "Pandy" speaks "china" because that is where he is from. And then the discussion changes to "dog language" and whether or not dogs can understand each other. They decide that this must be true. AMAZING how quickly they move from one topic to another. They crack me up! All the while I am typing and reminding them not to jump or put their feet on Mom's sofa that she just had recovered and put in her office today!

So, we are off to a good start here, but I need to close - time for some bedtime stories. Pearson has already requested Mr. Bear-Squash-You-All-Flat for tonight!
